Julie Snowden

Julie Snowden, Owner/President

Julie has over 20 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic physical therapy, with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky and a Masters degree in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine from the University of Indianapolis, Krannert Graduate School. Julie is a board certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy with the American Physical Therapy Association.

Julie's love of healthy body movements comes from being a professional dancer for 18 years, with 4 years at the Louisville Ballet Company. She often speaks nationally and locally about foot and ankle injuries, sports medicine, and spine rehabilitation. She has continued her education with various osteopathic manual therapy courses and several functional integration exercise courses.

Therese Graves

Therese Graves

Therese has a Bachelors degree in Health Sciences in Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville. Therese has worked for over 20 years as a physical therapist with emphasis in orthopaedic, geriatric, and neurological patients. Therese is a board certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy with the American Physical Therapy Association. She has been awarded the Patient Satisfaction Award at Caritas.

Therese interests include the organizing of the Arthritis Support Group at Caritas and teaching others about wellness and prevention. She has made several wellness and prevention presentations throughout the Kentucky metro area.

Lauren Adwell

Lauren Adwell
DPT (Licensed Physical Therapist, Doctorate in Physical Therapy),
Lauren received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Eastern Kentucky University and continued her educational pursuits with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University. Following her graduation at Bellarmine, she developed specialized skills in orthopedic and sport physical therapy through her work in an outpatient clinic setting. Lauren enjoys using her knowledge to help people of all ages maintain an active lifestyle and have a safe return to their physical activity of choice. She has continued her education in the areas of advanced sport medicine, manual soft tissue work, and orthopedics through a variety of technical courses. She has extensive experience and a valued reputation in the evaluation of runners and triathletes at all levels, including marathoner and ultramarathon runners. In her free time, Lauren enjoys being outdoors with her husband and spending time doing a variety of activities with her church community.

Katie Elder

Katie Elder
DPT (Licensed Physical Therapist, Doctorate in Physical Therapy),
Katie attended the University of Louisville for her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine, worked as a Physical Therapist tech and completed 1 semester of massage school at Advanced Massage Therapeutics before returning to graduate school where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University . She has worked in a variety of settings since graduation including skilled nursing facility, home health, outpatient, and industrial occupational physical therapy to return injured workers back to their prior job after injury or surgery. During this time she completed a two-day fellowship with Kutz and Kleinert for the wrist/hand and elbow therapy.

Katie has continued her education in upper extremity, scapular dysfunction, cervical spine and ribs, and currently is pursuing the University of St. Augustine manual therapy courses in spine and would like to continue her learning in orthopedic specialist certification, muscle energy techniques and strain counter-strain. Katie enjoys working with people of all ages with a manual therapy emphasis and has a unique approach to exercise prescription. Katie was a collegiate gymnast and diver and would like to pursue working with local athletes to ensure their return to sports and to improve sports performance. In her free time she enjoys painting/drawing and learning piano.

Andrea Rothgerber

Andrea Rothgerber

Andrea earned a BA in Psychology and History in 2001 from Bellarmine University. She then completed a MS in Counseling Psychology in 2003 from the University of Kentucky followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from Bellarmine University. She has continued her education with multiple courses in manual therapy, orthopedics, and dry needling. Andrea became a board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy with the American Physical Therapy Association in 2015. Andrea is continually working to advance her knowledge in orthopedics, manual therapy, dry needling, and in helping individuals return to the activities that give their lives meaning and enjoyment.

Andrea is also a dedicated yoga practitioner. She has personally practiced for nearly 20 years and became a 500 hour-level teacher in 2012. She enjoys working with yoga practitioners to help them return to, and advance their practice. When not in the clinic or practicing yoga, Andrea enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two wonderful children.

Callie Latham

Callie graduated from Bellarmine University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and began her career at Advanced Orthopaedic Physical Therapy PSC in May of 2016. She is working to gain an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certification and plans to attend an orthopedic residency program in manual therapy. She loves working with all types of patients, from chronic low back pain to high level athletes. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, running, spending time with her husband and family, and serving in her church community.

Lauren Brooks

Lauren Brooks

Lauren received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bellarmine University in 2013 with a minor in Biology and Healthcare. Lauren has always had a passion for sports and the athletic community, playing collegiate basketball throughout her time at Bellarmine. Due to several basketball related injuries, Lauren discovered her love for the human body and the physical therapy career field. After her undergraduate career ended, she pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating in May 2016. Lauren loves using her knowledge to help patients of all ages, providing them with high quality, patient-specific care to achieve their goals. As an avid learner, Lauren plans to pursue becoming a board certified orthopedic specialist in the near future. Lauren is an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and enjoys spending time with her husband, working on home improvement projects, and continuing to pursue her recreational running career.
